BEACON training provides staff with trauma-informed approaches for working with children and young people. The course promotes the development of strong, therapeutic relationships built on trust, empathy, and consistency. It covers attachment theory, emotional regulation, and behavior management using reflective practice. Staff will leave with tools to support resilience and positive outcomes for those who have experienced trauma.
Child Criminal Exploitation (CCE) & Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE)
This training will raise awareness of the signs, risk factors, and methods used in the criminal and sexual exploitation of children. Staff will gain insight into grooming tactics, coercive control, and how to recognize when a young person may be at risk. The course emphasizes the importance of safeguarding protocols, reporting procedures, and multi-agency collaboration to protect vulnerable individuals.
Deprivation of liberty (DOL'S)
Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS) training provides essential knowledge for those working in health and social care to ensure they understand how to lawfully and ethically support individuals who lack the capacity to make certain decisions about their care. Through this training, participants gain a clear understanding of the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and the legal framework that governs the use of DoLS. Fire Marshall

The course emphasizes a least-restrictive approach and includes guidance on documenting and reviewing incidents to ensure accountability and safety for all.
Harmful Sexualised Behavior
This course helps staff recognize and respond to harmful sexualized behavior in children and young people. It distinguishes between typical, concerning, and abusive behaviors, and explores the psychological and environmental factors contributing to HSB. Staff will learn safeguarding responses, therapeutic interventions, and how to support both victims and those exhibiting HSB within a safe and professional framework.
Health and Safety

Substance Misuse
